Wheel-thrown black stoneware dipped in Satin White glaze with iron brushed free form pattern. Rim is brushed in heavy iron resulting in a slightly metallic surface. Interior is glossy black with Clear Glaze. Dishwasher safe and microwaveable.

Having fun with planters as spring arrives. I use these minimal forms as a 3D canvas to play with abstract compositions. They combine surface tactics in slip transfer, direct painting in underglaze and taped off linear graphics. Thanks, @mariawhitest
