Wheel-thrown black stoneware with white slip painted over a portion of exterior. Cobalt oxide is patterned along the perimeter. Interior is clear glaze creating a glossy black effect.

Anticipating my spring time in Greece, I’ve designed this limited release porcelain cup influenced by Hellenic forms. Here is the first batch waiting for their turn in the bisque kiln. They are cooling now and I will glaze and fire a test next.
